I have always had a LOVE for flowers and weddings, my life as a little girl was spent playing wedding dressing up, I was fortunate enough as a child to have had access to everything wedding, my mom ran and part owned a small wedding and floral boutique in the KZN Midlands.
I matriculated, received my degree in Marketing, and then obtained a diploma in Interior Decorating. I was fully embedded in the corporate environment in Gauteng, married to my high school sweetheart with two gorgeous children. During this time, my younger sister decided to “tie the knot” and basically handed her entire wedding over to me (including the making, icing and decorating of her cake… needless to say, I have never made another wedding cake). The bug bit, and I realized I totally loved every single minute of making her wedding magical.
On top of always having a passion for everything “wedding” I have always wanted to have a “space” which sold fresh beautiful flowers, and beautiful items for your homes, office, or just anywhere. I started this dream with a small little stall at the I Heart Market in Durban, this soon progressed to now a retail studio at the Lifestyle Centre in Ballito.
Looking back, I can see how so much of my life was preparing me for this passion that has become my career… It is super rewarding to look back and see how far I have come over the years, but it is even more exciting to look towards the future as I dream up new possibilities.
Lots of Love & Laughter,
